Looking forward to seeing everyone at the 50th reunion!  Please go to the website and register ASAP as we are getting down to the wire to make final plans.   There is a couple of hotels on south beach in walking distance to the Pelican Yacht Club.  Hutchinson Island Plaza Hotel and Inn and also Dockside Inn & Resort.  There are a number of hotels out by the turnpike and I-95.

When making some phone calls, a few people told me that they were reluctant to come because they didn't have a partner to bring with them.   I know a number of people who are coming without a guest, INCLUDING MYSELF!  I won't feel alone because I know all of the fellow classmates will make me feel welcome.  If the reason you have decided not to come is because you'll be alone, you definitely WON'T be alone once you get there, so please reconsider!   I'd love to see you!

Just read that the 50 year reunion  will still go on. So glad to hear that for all the Eagles of the class of 69. Sorry to say I won’t be able to attend but I know it will be a fabulous time for all.  Happy 50th y’all and enjoy the celebration and friendship that have made us all Eagle Strong.

I've had a few classmates ask about the dress code.  Our survey did show the majority wanted it to be casual.  So the dress is casual for both nights.  As for myself, I don't plan to buy anything new to wear.  You'll see me in jeans when you get there Friday night.  I can't wait to see all of you!

Yes you can see who is attending ... go to our website and click on classmate profiles and at the top of the page there are several listings of which one is classmates attending reunion ..... there are flu glitches in the system so some classmates are attending but still are not listed !

In an effort to make sure that this message does reach all, copying & pasting it here as well:

The deadline for registration for our 50th Class Reunion is tomorrow, May 15th.  If you are going to register, you need to get it rolling.  Our reunion will go on as planned and hopefully you don't want to miss out.  It has all been said before so now it is up to you. I am sure there is still money for scholarships so don't let that be what keeps you from coming and having a good time.  The scholarship program is totally secret and the only person who will know is Linda and she has sworn to not even tell Lois.  Please contact her if you want to be a part of it.  Her email is: Lwhays@aol.com.

I'm sorry that Donald and I will not be able to attend the class reunion this year.  This will be the first one that I've missed.  We have to be at the Orlando airport June 8th at noon to catch a flight to London, England with our granddaughter.  We will have a great trip but will miss seeing everyone at the reunion.  Have a wonderful time and hope to see everyone soon.   Thanks, Brenda & Donald

I just finished downloading the photos from tonight - a total of 62 from the reunion.  It took a while to do that.  As I said, I intend to go back and caption them with names.  That is going to take me a while.  We, of course, had classmates and their spouses/guests as well, and frankly names have never been the easiest things for me.  So... if I make mistakes (and I WILL make mistakes), just let me know and I’ll fix it!
