MCNALLY, KAREN C.

Karen Curry McNally, 59, went to be with her Lord February 1, 2011, at the Haven Hospice after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband Paul and her son Shawn McNally of Gainesville, Fl. who were with her when she passed and by her mother Audrey Whalen and her two brothers Bill and Jeff Curry who all live in Miami.

Karen graduated high school from Dan McCarthy in Fort Pierce Fl. then moved to Gainesville, Fl. in 1969 where she graduated from the University of Florida in 1973. Karen then began a long career working for the St. Of Fl. with most of her years working at Sunland as it was known then; retiring from NFETC just this last year. Karen's passion was traveling and she got to go to the places she dream of going and was making plans for her next trip as soon as the last one ended. Her other passion was reading at least one book a day. Karen is greatly loved and will be missed beyond words.
