Janice Harriell McGee, 63, died Feb. 24, 2013, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pierce.
She was born in New York City and lived in St. Lucie County for 55 years, coming from New York.

 

She attended the public schools of St. Lucie County and was a graduate of Dan McCarthy High School Class of 1969.
She was retired from the St. Lucie County School Board after 35 years as a bus driver.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness.

 

Survivors include her sons, Rodney Harriell and John H. McGee III; daughter, JoAnna McGee; mother, Sadie M. Harriell all of Fort Pierce; brothers, Clifford "Ricky" Minus of Atlanta, David Harriell Jr. of Richmond, Va., and Jerome Harriell of Chesapeake, Va.; sister, Sadie L. Johnson of Richmond; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, David D. Harriell; and sister, Bernice Rue.
Services: A funeral service will be at 4 p.m. March 2 at Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness in Fort Pierce.
