Dewey Stephen Barber, 53, died January 28, 2005, at his home.  He was born in Tallahassee and lived in CalhounCounty since 1988.  He was an electrician for Florida.  He served in the Army with the 82^nd Airborne.  He was of the Baptist faith.  Survivors at the time of death included his wife, DeAndra Barber of Altha; father Charles Goodwin of Altha; son Shane Barber of Fort Pierce; sister Dianna Tissue of Blounttown; and two grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Goodwin, in 1997.  Services were held on February 1, 2005 in Blountstown.  Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery.
