Wayne was a childhood friend of mine. He lived on Alma Court by the big yellow school on Delaware Avenue. His father Dave and his Hamond Organ van was a town historic site back in the day...I too ate at Taylor's Soda Shop by Ranchland and Gore used to resole our Jarman penny loafer shoes and west on Orange Ave past Burger King, Tom Phillips cut a lot of us kids hair at Shaffer and Sloane's Barber shop and next to the barber shop was Fran's Shoes, where my mother bought my penny loafers. I haven't thought about any of this in 30 years! Wayne is about the 10th childhood friend or more I grew with who are now gone...the first one who left us was Mark Smith in the 1960s! R.I.P. Wayne..God please take him! AMEN! Andy Attkisson, a D.M.H.S.  EAGLE..."Forever!"
